Fridge-A-Thon Exhibition

The show at the After Hours Gallery in Phoenix, features 15 recycled fridges painted and designed by valley artists. The project is sponsored by SRP to help spread the word about their appliance recycling program. If you have a spare freezer or fridge laying around, SRP, will pay you $30 to pick it up. Approximately 95% of the unit will be recycled and you’ll save about $100 a year, instead of running it on your bill. Stefan and I really enjoyed the lively and humorous art. My favorite was the lucha libre style wrestler…makes me want to paint my fridge!

Word of the Day – “Transmute”

Sylk Magazine Word of the Day

I did a series of quick videos for Sylk Magazine, an online socio-political men’s magazine. Confused? Just check out their website. Lots of smart and hot models, interesting articles, and videos. Here’s my favorite…even though all of them are pretty funny…and informative.

Yellow Nails!

There’s nothing mellow about this yellow! :) I just had to share my new nail-did! It’s my first time wearing this color-so bold and bright! I love experimenting with flirty neon polish during the summer, don’t you? XO!

Fonts, Doodles, and More…

Laurel Scribner is a talented Graphic Designer in Los Angeles who loves coffee just as much as I do. I’ve always been a fan of her upbeat, quirky, and often humorous art. Here are some postcards she designed from the quotes of Benjamin Franklin. To see more of her art, visit her blog @ www.laurelscribnercreative.com
